5301PDCOMP “complete” comes with HSS (High Speed Steel) Universal Dies
versus the competitor’s alloy steel dies.
5301PD (without carriage assembly) is a good choice for power grooving using
Reed’s RG6S or RGCOMBO2 roll groovers.
Reed’s 5301PD Power Drive rotates the pipe while cutting, reaming and threading
operations are performed on up to 2” diameter pipe or bolt. The flat housing top
provides a handy workspace. Reed offers both basic 5301PD power drive machines
with foot pedal and the complete models*** which include a tripod, transporter,
carriage, reamer, pipe cutter, die head and dies, oiler and cutting oil.
